MAC’s Paint Pot and Mineralize Lipstick Review

MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot – Frozen Violet

Price- $18.50

MAC’s description:

“A highly pigmented eye colour that goes on creamy but dries to an intense, vibrant finish. Long-wearing, colourfast. Creates seamless coverage without weight or caking. Blends
smoothly over the lids. Cream-based, can be mixed with M·A·C shadows and liners.”

Frozen Violet is described as a “frosted purple silver”. This is actually one of my favorite from the new Paint Pots that were recently released. This one goes on a bit smoother than the others. Some of the other don’t go on so smoothly because if the shimmer it has. This one has silver shimmer, but still blends well when you don’t apply too much product at once. This can also be used with eye shadows, and would look beautiful as a smokey eye. I tried this one for an entire day, and it did not crease or fade.

MAC Mineralize Rich Lipstick- Lady At Play

Price- $22.00

MAC’s Description:

Introducing a new Mineralize masterpiece for lips with a luxurious, lightweight formula enhanced with 77-Mineral Moist complex for nutrient-rich moisture. The impact is instant – softer, smoother, more supple lips. The larger lipstick bullet delivers fuller, sleeker application in a single stroke. 12 new shades with bright, colour retention.”

Lady At Play can be described as tangerine color. The texture is very smooth, creamy and feels hydrating on the lips. I would definitely agree that it is lightweight, it is very comfortable to wear and doesn’t dry out the lips after a couple of hours. I also noticed it stays on for a decent amount of time, considering it is a creamier texture with sheen. The packaging is a little bigger than the normal MAC lipsticks. It also has a magnetic closure. If you don’t like matte lipsticks, then you should check out this new lipstick collection.

Until next time,
