It’s no secret that I love cuticle products, and I recently got to try one from a company called Just Natural.
First, here is a little about them:
” At Just Natural, beautiful hair and skin care products isn’t something that’s made in a lab. They are carefully and lovingly cultivated from the earth using natural ingredients.
The key is to encourage and strengthen your natural self-renewing process.
Nature provides all of the ingredients to achieve beautiful hair and skin care.
We use no animal ingredients in our products or do any animal testing. We use the purest plant oils, butters, botanical extracts and essentials from the best that nature has to offer.
Nature provides us with ingredients that we carefully craft to make personal care products that are effective, inspirational and enjoyable.”
On to the product! First and foremost it is made with all natural products, which you can see in the picture above. It is also made in the US and is cruelty free, vegan, chemical, paraben, sulfate, gluten and alcohol free as well. All good stuff.
The packaging is a nice heavy glass bottle, it comes with a regular cap and a dropper. I just subbed in the dropper, as you can see from the photo.
The product itself is a serum (obviously), it’s yellow in color and has the consistency of most cuticle oils on the market. I did as the directions said and used one drop per nail and rubbed it in. I found that it takes a little longer to absorb, and you need to work it in a little bit more that Essie Apricot Oil. It’s not very greasy, I actually find it less greasy than the Sally Hansen cuticle oil.
I tested it during the day and night, and I prefer to use it at night. Firstly, because I found that I needed to apply it a little more often during the day and second is because of the scent. That’s the one thing did not like. It’s very medicinal and heavy on the castor oil. It’s not a product that I would take to work with me, as the whole office would smell like it. I do enjoy using it before bed though, and will continue to do so.
In terms of price… it’s pretty pricey. You get 1oz of products for $25.99. You really get double the amount of product here, Apricot oil is .5oz.
You can find this and more on the Just Natural website, and you can also find them on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.
