Any skin conern that you have, IT Cosmetics has got you covered. Worried about lines? Redness? Blemishes? They have everything.

There are a ton of new products, so I want to highlight some of my favorites today.

Superhero Liner

I have been waiting for this! I love Superhero Mascara, everyone who tries it loves it, so I was so excited to try the liner! This is a liquid eye liner with a brush tip (my favorite!) in the color super black. It actually contains lash-enhancing peptides, collegan, biotin and kertain! It retails for $24.

Confidence in a Cleanser

Super excited that IT has come out with a cleanser! I’ve had hits and misses with the Confidence line, this it turning into a major hit! It is sulfate free, soap free, and contains Anti-Aging Armour Rejuvenating Concentrate to help skin look rejuvenated and restored. Collagen and hyaluronic acid plump the appearance of lines and wrinkles. This retails for $24.

Bye Bye Redness Neutralizing Correcting Cream

I’ve been having some redness issues, especially after a minor sunburn I got. I decided that this was the perfect time to try out the correcting cream! And I have to say, I am super impressed! This correcting cream has amazing coverage and a little bit goes a long way. I haven’t had any creasing or cracking and it completely covers any redness. You can wear this alone or under makeup, and it contains colloidal oatmeal, aloe, tumeric, collagen and peptides. This retails for $32.

Bye Bye Lines Foundation

This. I love this foundation. It feels super light on the skin, blends in really nicely and has buildable full coverage. One of the best parts about it is the pump! Some pumps give you way too much product, that’s not the case with this one. It has a little more resistance, so you can control how much you get with each pump and don’t end up wasting a lot of product. I’ve had issues with other liquid foundations looking dry or settling into my skin, but I haven’t had any of those issues with this foundation at all, it’s amazing! It contains anti-aging hydrolyzed collagen, peptides, caviar extract, argan oil and vitamins. This foundation retails for $38.

Bye Bye Under Eye Concealing Pot

Another awesome concealer from IT. I have some dark circles, and this product takes care of them with no problem. I’ve used other dark circle concealers that crease, no creasing with this guy! This concealer also contains anti-aging hydrolyzed collagen, peptides, hyaluronic acid and antioxidants. It retails for $28.

I’m actually using all these products everyday and they have quickly grown to become my go-tos. I’m super excited to try all the other products and I’ll be reporting back with full reviews!

Ulta Precision Liquid Eyeliner Swatches and Review!

I bought this on a whim because it was $3! Now lets see what I actually think of it.

Normal looking liquid eyeliner, same size as most.

Ultaprecisioneyeliner2It has a felt tip, which is a normal length, I would say. Pretty easy to handle. Ultaprecisioneyeliner3I got it in black. You can see that it’s a not as super black as it could be, and is also a little patchy when doing a thin line.

So first and foremost, I was not expecting much out of a $3 Ulta brand eyeliner. When I first brought it home, I let it sit around on the counter for a couple of days and when I went to try it… it was totally dry! I didn’t want to throw it out right away, so I  stood it up upside down for a few days, hoping that the liquid would redistribute. Luckily it did! So warning: make sure to store your liquid liner pens upside down.

The first time I used it, I actually really liked it. It was easy to make a thin line, the actual pen was easy to handle and it was black enough for my liking. But as I continued to use it, it got a little patchy and now it’s getting a little difficult to create a thin line (as you can see from the picture).

Also, a major warning if you have watery eyes! This stuff is not at all waterproof. I had a sneezing fit one morning, my eyes got all watery and literally all of the eyeliner came off. It was awful. I would not recommend this if you have allergies or watery eyes, in general.

Overall, it’s okay. In optimal conditions its a pretty good eyeliner, especially considering the price. Would I purchase it again? Definitely not. I’m a waterproof liner kind of girl. But I will use it some more before I toss it.

Have you tried this? What’s your favorite inexpensive eyeliner?

My Everyday Makeup!

I’ve been meaning to write this post for a while now, but needed an extension cord for my light box. Womp. I finally got one, so on to the post!

I thought I’d share my everyday makeup!

First up, primer.

everydaymakeupSorry about the totally distorted tube lol. This is the Dermablend Skinperfector Redness Reducing Primer. I found it at TJ Maxx for $15 a while ago. I don’t have much redness, but I needed a new primer haha. So this comes in one of those metal tubes, it’s not plastic, that’s why it’s all bent out of shape like that. The primer itself has a green tint to it to help counteract redness. It’s a tiny bit tacky, so I always have to rinse my hands after applying it.

After primer comes eyes.

everydaymakeup2I left my Naked Basics for a while, then had to come back to it. It really is my favorite neutral palette. For my everyday eye, I use W.O.S. on the entire lid and Naked 2 for my crease. With that I use my It Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe No-Tug Dual Eyeshadow brush. I use the fluffy side for both the lid and crease. Currently, I’m also using three different liquid liners (finishing one , using one and testing one), the one pictured is the Maybelline Master Precise liner.

Once eyes are done it’s time for face!

everydaymakeup3I totally fell in love with the It Cosmetics It’s All About You collection, I used it once and was hooked and now use it every single day. I actually use two shades of the Bye Bye Under Eye Anti-Aging Concealer. I use the medium shade for my dark circles, because it’s a little more orange, and then I use the fair for brightening and other blemishes. After concealer I use the Celebration Foundation with the It Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection Brush. Then I go into the Naturally Pretty Face Palette with my e.l.f Blush Brush and use the Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder to set my under eye concealer. And finally I use my It Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Radiance Wand Brush with the Vitality Matte Bronzer in Warmth to warm up my face.

And then I’m good to go!

I gotta say… I’m obsessed with all the It Cosmetics brushes that I own. I love them all so much! I highly suggest, at least, going to check them out at Ulta!

What’s your everyday makeup routine?

Maybelline Master Precise by Eye Studio Eyeliner Swatches and Review!

My Kat Von D tattoo liner started acting wonky recently, so I decided it was time to buy a supplemental liquid liner. I went to Ulta looking to buy one from NYX and, of course, they didn’t have it. I should have known. Every time I go into Ulta with a list they never have anything I need. I really wanted a liner with a brush tip, and couldn’t find one. After half an hour of googling and wandering, I settled on this one from Maybelline (and an Ulta one, but that’s for a different post).

maybellinemasterpreciseThis is a liquid liner in the pen form, it’s actually shorter than other ones that I’ve used. maybellinemasterprecise2It might be shorter than other liners, but it has one of the longest tips ever! It’s a felt tip and it’s really long for some reason, I don’t find the length to have any particular benefit.  maybellinemasterprecise3The formula is nice, it’s smooth and opaque. I’m really not crazy about the felt tip as it’s a little difficult to get a thin line. I also found the tip to be a little scratchy on my eyelid, it’s nothing horrible, just a little uncomfortable. This isn’t the softest felt tip I’ve ever used.

I don’t think it’s waterproof, so if you have watery eyes, inner or outer corners, be careful! I have bad allergies and my inner corners get really watery, and this liner ran right off. Now I just avoid placing it too close, just in case.

Other than that, I didn’t find any problems with it. It was really good staying power, I’ve had it on for a good 15-17 hours without any problems (unless I had watery eyes!). No flaking or smudging, unless I rubbed my eye by accident lol.

For a drugstore liner, I’d say it’s pretty good. I like the formula and opacity, but the felt tip could use some work. Next time, I’d probably try something new rather than buying this one again.

Current Makeup Favorites!

I’ve been using some new makeup/ makeup tools recently, so I thought I’d share my current makeup faves with you!

First up, the IT Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe No-Tug Dual Eyeshadow brush!

I tested this brush a little while ago and it quickly became my go-to eyeshadow brush. I don’t use the smudger side much, but I love the fluffy all over side. It’s super soft and distributes the eyeshadow beautifully. I use it all over the lid and also as a crease brush! For the crease, I just use the very top of the brush, as opposed to the side for my lid.

To go along with my new favorite eyeshadow brush, I brought out an old favorite eyeshadow palette!

604214396906_nakedbasicsAh, Naked Basics. I was using a few other palettes before I came back to this one. It’s perfect for day-time and work, which is what I use it for.

Next is eyeliner! I’ve wanted to try this one for a while, and I finally bought it during the Sephora sale.

31v57UbaRBLIt’s Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper! I looooove this! I’m so glad that I got it. It has a brush tip, is nice and pigmented and super easy to handle. You can make a thin line or thick line no problem.

Still staying on the eye theme…

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Anti-Aging Concealer! I got a sample of this with my order during their sale and wow, I love it. I have Benefit Erase Paste, but I think I like this even better. It’s creamier and doesn’t crease as much on me. It makes me look a little bit more alive in the morning lol

Switching gears a little bit…

553I’ve loved Tarte Rainforest After Dark literally from the first second that I saw the packaging. It’s my favorite fall palette, but recently I’m loving the bronzer! It’s Park Avenue Princess and I use it every single day for a light all over bronze and slight contour. It’s beautiful, blends fantastically and doesn’t overwhelm my super paleness.

And last but not leas, I’ve rediscovered e.l.f. HD Powder!

83333_900px_A_100011I have it in translucent and I’ve had it for a while but haven’t used it much. The primer I’s using (Dermablend ) leaves me a little shiner than I like, so I decided to give the HD Powder a go, and it’s fantastic. I use it lightly on my forehead, nose an under eyes to remove shine and set my makeup. I love that it isn’t heavy on the skin, doesn’t leave me cakey and actually makes my pores look smaller!

Well, that’s all I have for you… for now! lol what are your current makeup faves?

Oh oh! I almost forgot… I’m going to Disney World! I’m flying out tonight to celebrate my big 2-5 this Friday! Don’t worry, I’ve scheduled some posts for you guys!

My Mini Weekend Haul!

On Saturday I finally got my shop on! I went to Ulta, Sally Beauty and CVS. You’d think I would have gotten a whole bunch of stuff, but no such luck, so here is my little weekend haul!

I also got a few things that are not pictured… Biore pore strips because I love them, Blue Cross cuticle remover and some pure acetone to clean my nail art brushes. I also really wanted NYX Butter Gloss in Devils Food Cake but is was sold out! Gotta keep my eye out for it.

NYX Matte Lipstick in Alabama. This is like a dark ruby color.

NYX Matte Lipstick in Siren. This one is like a dark, vampy violet red color.

Lorac Liquid Lustre in Gold. I’ve been wanting this forever! So glad I finally remembered and grabbed it. I already have a holiday look planned with it (and Alabama).

NYC Liquid Eyeliner in Black. Saw Nikkie Tutorials do a review of this and I had to get it! I’ve been wanting another eyeliner with a brush tip, I;m over the felt tip liners. It’s actually pretty darn good quality, the formula is a little thicker and it’s very black. Sometimes you may need another coat for full opacity, but that’s not a big deal. I really like the brush tip, but the handle is so long! That’s been a little difficult for me to get used to.

NYX Lip Primer… I believe in the color Nude. Never used a lip primer before, thought it might be cool to try with the new lipsticks.

The lipsticks look a little light in the picture, they are a shade or two darker in real life. Siren in the picture is more like Alabama in real life.I love these two, so perfect for fall. They are matte, so I tried them both with gloss and WOW! So beautiful. I’m seriously in love with these colors.

The lip primer is faint because it is nude, but it’s there!

I’ve been using the eyeliner the last few days and I do like it a lot (besides the long brush handle that takes some time getting used to) and I cannot wait to use my Liquid Lustre!

Did you guys get anything fun over the weekend?

My Work Day Makeup Staples!

Recently started  working full time in our office, prior to that I was blissfully working from home. Working from home didn’t call for makeup, just my couch. But now that I need to see people every day, I thought I’d share my work staples!

This is basically the gist of my day to day makeup. So here are my work day makeup staples:

  • Matte neutral eyeshadow

My go-to for a while now has been the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette. I think it’s perfect for every day wear. It has a mostly matte, all neutral shades. I’ve also started using my Too Faced Candy Bar pop out palette as well-it has a lot of darker shades so I use it with Naked Basics. I love palettes that do double duty, so with both palettes I can use shadows to fill in my brows and as highlight colors. My usual routine though, is to use Naked Basics on my lid and crease, Candy Bar as my highlight and darker color on the lower lash line (and the bronzer!).

  • Liquid eyeliner

Some people can skip the liner, but I cannot. I’ve always had a soft spot for eyeliner. I love liquid liner for work because it’s just fast. I’ve tried using gel, but it usually takes up more time in the morning. My two picks recently have been the Urban Decay 24/7 liquid liner in Perversion and the L’oreal Telescopic liner in Carbon Black. Love these for different reasons: the Urban Decay has an awesome little brush, loving that way more than the felt tip lately. It has a glossier finish and sometimes needs a few layers to get it very black (might be because mine’s getting old though). When I don’t want a glossy finish, I grab the L’oreal. It’s matte and super black, it does have the felt tip but I deal with it.

  • Mascara

I’ll admit that sometimes I do forget mascara, but I’ve been really trying to remember! When I do I go for my L’oreal Volumious Miss Manga or my Urban Decay Supercurl (also love a Diorshow that I have but it’s not water proof and I have horrible allergies). I’ve been loving the Miss Manga every since I got it for my birthday and I just rediscovered my Supercurl. Sometimes I like to layer them as well.

  • Concealer

Probably the most important in my routine. As you can tell from the picture, I do not use foundation. I don’t even own any foundation. My skin is on the drier side and I don’t like layering a lot of stuff on it, it ends up caking up on me. So instead of using foundation or BB cream (which I do have), I just use concealer. My go-to is my MAC Pro Longwear. I love applying it with my Real Technique sponge. It has great coverage and I can spread thinner layers to avoid caking. Just as a note, I do use moisturizer and primer before I use concealer.

So those are my staples! As I said I do slightly bronze just to warm up my face, and I use the Chocolate Soleil bronzer that comes in the Candy Bar pop out palette. Sometimes If I decide to highlight I use theBalm’s Mary Lou-Manizer.

What are your go-to work products?

L’oreal Telescopic Precison Liquid Eyeliner Review!

Since I liked (not loved) my Physicians Formula eyeliner, I decided to go ahead and try out another one. This time I picked a brand that I normally wouldn’t.

As you can see I got it in the color Carbon Black.

This eyeliner is similar to the newer Milani eyeliner, it has a felt tip and longer handle.
The color is super black and is very opaque. I do have a problem making perfectly straight lines though, it might be because of the stiff tip.
On the bright side, I had no issues with it drying out! It also sets very quickly, which is good. It does dry a little matter than I’m used to. The PF eyeliner dries super glossy! I kind of got used to that and the matte was meh to me.
Overall, I do like the formula of this but I’m not a super fan of the stiff felt tip and the matte finish.
Do you guys have any favorite drugstore eyeliners? I’m open to suggestions!

Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum Review!

I heard some good things about this on Youtube, and was in the market for a new eyeliner anyway, so I decided to test it out.

The tip is a brush tip, not a felt tip, which I like because it gives you a little more precision and you’re able to get a thinner line if you like.

Left to right:
Right after opening, after being moistened with water, after excess moisture is removed.
What I’ve been finding is that the brush tends to dry out on me. The first stroke is so thick because the tip of the brush is dry and doesn’t deliver any color (not cool). When this happens I need to moisten the brush to get the eyeliner running smoothly again, I usually wet it then draw a few things on my hand until the color is opaque again. I even store it upside down, so the liner will keep flowing towards the tip. Not a big deal, but not the best when you’re considering an eyeliner.
On the other hand, once you get that liner on your eyes, it stays! It has really great staying power, no creasing or chipping or smudging once it’s set, and it sets within seconds. The color is a super dark, opaque black (Ultra Black, I think). And while is stays on like a champ, it’s also easy to remove with makeup wipes.
On the lash boosting side…  I haven’t noticed anything different about my lashes, but I’ve only been using it about 3 weeks.
Overall, I like the actual liner, but the drying out brush tip isn’t the best. Maybe mine is defective, who knows, but the control it gives you is great. I’d suggest it if you don’t mind a little extra work, and you never know… yours might not even dry out!
Anyone else use this? What did you think? have any issues with it?
Until next time,
The Wicked
