Zoya 2017 Earth Day Haul!

I received my Zoya Earth Day purchase last week! This is what I got…

From left to right: Cecelia, Rue, Jill, Blu, Abby and Cathy

A lot of neutrals this time around. I saw swatches of Jill and Cathy when that collection came out and wrote them down for the next sale. I’ve also been wanting Rue for the longest time, but it was sold out the last time I made a Zoya purchase. I love a good blue, so Blu was a pretty obvious choice. I’ve also had my eye on Cecelia for quite some time. As for Abby, I needed a pastel purple in my life.

So far, I’ve tried Blu and Rue. Blue is beautiful, super smooth and opaque in two coats. It was also really shiny before I even put on a top coat. Rue is a thinner formulation, I needed three coats for the opacity I was looking for, but it dries quickly and evenly. I’m actually wearing Rue right now and loving it.

Overall, I’m really happy with my purchase, and I can’t wait to use more of them! Did you get anything from the Zoya Earth Day promotion? If not, you still have time! Use code EARTHLUV to get 50% off your purchase of 6 or more polishes (max 24). You also get free shipping! I actually also got a sample size of Zoya Remove+ Nail Polish remover! This offer is valid until 5/10/17 11:59pm.

Black Friday Zoya Haul!

Woo! I got my Black Friday Zoya order about a week or so ago, so I thought I’d share it with you!

I ended up with 9 polishes, the first 5 are from the fall/winter Urban Grunge collection, but here are all the polishes that I got:

  • August- Blue toned grey
  • Mallory- Prussian blue
  • Merida- Evergreen with scattered holo
  • Alicia- Linear holo with a touch of gold
  • Finely- Royal purple with scattered holo
  • Eastyn- Greyed mauve
  • Ireland- Muted olive green
  • Purity- Pure white
  • Willa- Black

Mallory and August from Urban Grunge are their new one coat cream formulation. So, you should be able to get fully opaque coverage with one coat. I did try both of them, and you totally can pull it off in one coat, but I always prefer two thinner coats, that’s just me. They do dry super fast, so if you’re a one coater, these polishes can get you out the door even faster. They’re both beautiful, smooth, even formulas.

When I saw that Zoya had come out with a polish called Merida, there was no doubt in my mind that I had to have it. It’s so pretty and perfect for the holidays. I’d probably buy it for the name, regardless of the color though lol. Letting my Disney nerd flag fly!

I saw live swatches of the entire collection before I decided on anything and Finely completely stood out because it’s basically a galaxy in a bottle. Same thing with Alicia, I saw the live swatch and needed it!

The last two actual colors were Eastyn and Ireland. Originally I was going to get Rue, but it was sold out at the time. I ended up looking at so many swatches to see what I should get as a replacement and found Eastyn, which I ended up liking better because it was less pink than Rue. I also realized that there is a huge gap in my collection and I didn’t have a proper olive green, so Ireland came to be mine!

And finally, any time there is a Zoya promo, I usually end up getting another Willa and Purity. They are my favorite black and white polishes, so I like to be stocked up at all times.

So that’s that. Honestly, I would have totally bought more if I could’ve decided on colors. The deal was too good to pass up. Make sure you keep an eye out for Zoya deals over the holidays, they usually have some BOGO deals, promos and free shipping.

Did you get anything from Zoya for Black Friday?

July Ulta Haul!

Wooooo! The best time, Ulta haul time!

I actually split this haul into two days. One day one I bought two new Urban Decay Vice Lipsticks in Uptight and Conspiracy (reviews coming soon),  Ulta Vanilla Sugar body scrub, and another Batiste dry shampoo. On day two, I bought the jumbo Redken All Soft Conditioner.

I love the Ulta body scrubs, they’re sugar scrubs and on clearance pretty often. I always grab them if I see them on sale. I got this one for $2.97! Awesome price, the last one I got was around $5.

In terms of hair, if you like Redken and other salon brands, jumbo sizes are on sale! They start at $12.99, but vary by brand. The Redken was $15.99, plus you get a free pump (normally $3) and I used the $3.50 off $15 coupon, so I got it for around $13.00! It’s normally $32! So I’m super pumped about it. If you saw my last hair haul, I bought the normal size All Soft conditioner, which was $16.50… so this is a crazy good deal. Not sure when the sale ends, so hurry!

Zoya Earth Day 2016 Haul!

I ordered super early, and got my package already!

Left to right:

  • Evvie
  • Kennedy
  • Talia
  • Lake
  • Willa
  • Purity
  • Serenity
  • Monica

Phew! I obviously couldn’t help myself, and I’m very into cremes right now!  Cannot wait to use these, I did try Kennedy and it is so pretty!

Did you order anything from the Zoya Earth Day Exchange yet? It’s going on until 4/30, use code ZGREEN!

My Winstonia Haul!

Woo! I’ve been dying to try reverse stamping for a while now, but problem! I’m thoroughly over the two lame stamping plates that I own. So it was time to invest in some new ones!

winstoniahaulThe first thing I grabbed was the  3rd Generation stamping plate set, you get 20 round plates, each with 3-4 designs (see them all here). I also got the Moroccan Mosaic plate.

winstoniahaul2After the plates, I still needed some other things to get me to free shipping, so I got some mermaid vinyls and a super tiny brush!

winstoniahaul3Here is a close up of the brush so you can see how small it is. It’s the Kolinsky Sable Nail-Art Detail Brush #0000. It even has an aluminum cap, which I love.

And that’s it! I’m really excited to start using some of these things! I’m pretty overwhelmed with my choices right now lol

My Mini Weekend Haul!

On Saturday I finally got my shop on! I went to Ulta, Sally Beauty and CVS. You’d think I would have gotten a whole bunch of stuff, but no such luck, so here is my little weekend haul!

I also got a few things that are not pictured… Biore pore strips because I love them, Blue Cross cuticle remover and some pure acetone to clean my nail art brushes. I also really wanted NYX Butter Gloss in Devils Food Cake but is was sold out! Gotta keep my eye out for it.

NYX Matte Lipstick in Alabama. This is like a dark ruby color.

NYX Matte Lipstick in Siren. This one is like a dark, vampy violet red color.

Lorac Liquid Lustre in Gold. I’ve been wanting this forever! So glad I finally remembered and grabbed it. I already have a holiday look planned with it (and Alabama).

NYC Liquid Eyeliner in Black. Saw Nikkie Tutorials do a review of this and I had to get it! I’ve been wanting another eyeliner with a brush tip, I;m over the felt tip liners. It’s actually pretty darn good quality, the formula is a little thicker and it’s very black. Sometimes you may need another coat for full opacity, but that’s not a big deal. I really like the brush tip, but the handle is so long! That’s been a little difficult for me to get used to.

NYX Lip Primer… I believe in the color Nude. Never used a lip primer before, thought it might be cool to try with the new lipsticks.

The lipsticks look a little light in the picture, they are a shade or two darker in real life. Siren in the picture is more like Alabama in real life.I love these two, so perfect for fall. They are matte, so I tried them both with gloss and WOW! So beautiful. I’m seriously in love with these colors.

The lip primer is faint because it is nude, but it’s there!

I’ve been using the eyeliner the last few days and I do like it a lot (besides the long brush handle that takes some time getting used to) and I cannot wait to use my Liquid Lustre!

Did you guys get anything fun over the weekend?

JCP Sephora Nail Polish Haul!

GUYS! I’ve been hearing so much on reddit about awesome sales at JCP Sephoras… so I had to check out my local one.

Left to right: Nails Inc Cavendish Place, Nails Inc Princes Garden, Formula X Bombshell, Formula X TNT, Deborah Lippmann Boom Boom Pow

So guess how much I paid for these babies! The Nails Inc and Deborah Lippmann were $5.99! And the Formula X were $2.99! WHAT?! YES! There were a couple of creme Nails Inc shades as well, another creme Deborah Lippmann and a bunch of Formula X polishes.

I don’t think I’ll ever go to a regular Sephora again, the JCP ones have killer clearance. I also picked up the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette (The little one with the phone case) for $15! I really can’t even.

Totally go check out all the JCP Sephoras near you!

Head2Toe Haul! Color Club and China Glaze!

I was on reddit and saw someone post about their Head2Toe haul, so I obviously had to check it out annnnnd this happened.

Haulllll. Left to right: Color Club Disco Dress, China Glaze Pizzazz, China Glaze Your Present Required, China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy, China Glaze I Sea The Point, China Glaze At Vase Value, China Glaze Too Yacht To Handle, China Glaze Emerald Fitzgerald

I also picked up this brush cleaner! I’ve been ruining all my brush handles recently so this will come in handy.

brushcleaner2Here is what it looks like from the top, it can hold a bunch of different size brushes.

This was the first time I’ve ever ordered from Head2Toe. They have a bunch of brands, obviously China Glaze and Color Club, also Essie, OPI, Misa, Seche, Orly and others. They also have tools, gel polish, base coats, top coats and treatments.

They have a lot of polishes, lots of different collections going back a number of years. If you ever missed out on a polish I suggest checking if they have it. Prices range, China Glaze was $3.25, which is cheap! That’s why I got so many. I think Color Club was the same, but the other brands were closer to retail prices.

The one negative was the shipping price, they calculate based on weight so it can get pricey if you buy a lot. Mine ended up being around $10, but because the polish was so decently priced that I figured it was worth it. You can choose how you want your package shipped, I went with the cheapest USPS option.

The most negative thing also happened to be the most positive because I got my package in 2 days! Definitely worth it. I wasn’t expecting it for at least 4 days, but was very pleasantly surprised.

Anyone ever ordered from Head2Toe?
