Aora Aurora Chrome Powder Review!

Yes, I wholeheartedly jumped onto the chrome powder train. This has to be my favorite one yet.

Props to the boyfriend for getting this for me for Christmas! I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to review it. It is gorgeous. It is a multichrome chrome power. It shifts from green to blue to purple to pink/orange. In the picture you can see some of the spectrum, it does not do it justice though.

I use it with the Aora gel base and top coat. Out of all the chrome powders that I’ve tried so far, this one has the best application. It applied like a dream. It is milled super fine, a little goes a long way and one swipe with your finger leaves it super shiny and chrome before you even use the top coat. I like to apply it with a silicon tool, then use my finger to smooth it all out. Then just lock in that shine with top coat.

I’m in love with this one. I love a green-blue-purple shift in general, but this takes it to the next level.

ILNP Supernova + Phoenix!

I’ve been in a rut, I’m kind of over summer colors yet not ready for fall. So what do I do when I’m in a rut? Add glitter, of course! In this case, I added flakies…

SupernovePhoenix SupernovePhoenix2SupernovePhoenix3I have a base coat of Zoya Raven, then one coat of ILNP Phoenix, one coat of Supernova over than and then another coat of Phoenix. Phoenix is a purple/pink/orange multichrome and Supernova is a green/blue/purple multichrome. I thought they’d look really cool layered over each other and I was right! I love all the different colors you get when you layer them.

Straight on you get that green and purple, very Maleficent-y, then you get the shifts of more purple/pink, red/orange. They kind of remind me of dragon eggs! I also added a coat of Essie Good To Go over top.

What do you guys think?

ILNP Metropolis Swatches and Review!

The third out of the five ILNP Ultra Chrome Flakies that I have!

Sooo I obviously re-purposed my Simple Negative Space mani, because I loved it so much! Instead of redoing everything, I just added three coats of Metropolis on top.

I almost didn’t get this one and I am so glad that I did! It has the best of everything, you get that blue/pink/purple shift, then the pink/orange/yellow/green. Amazing!

I felt like this one needed more coats for the full flakie effect, compared to Electric Carnival and Supernova. It might have been because I was using thinner coats to stay within the lines though lol. But it dries really fast, and the three coats gives great coverage, so I’m loving it.

NOTD: Skittles with ILNP Electric Carnival!

I’m loving the ILNP Ultra Chrome flakies! You all saw Supernova in my last post and I really didn’t want to remove it… but really wanted to try more. #nailpolishaddictproblems for real.

So, my pointer and pinky are three coats of Zoya Jem, two coats will suffice, but I wanted three. Ring finger is two coats of Orly Pure Porcelain (and two studs, obviously lol), middle finger and thumb are two coats of Zoya Raven and two coats of Electric Carnival.

I’m not a pink lover by nature, but there is something awesome about this pink to green shift. You also get some yellow/gold/orange in there. Just like Supernova, Electric Carnival is jam packed with flakies and dries super fast.

I’m loving this entire mani at the moment, what do you guys think?

NOTD: Bunny Phone Ruffian!

So travesty… my computer charger broke and I’m waiting for my new one to ship, so I’m stuck on a.. GASP… PC for a while. And stuck using an online photo editor for now, so excuse that lol

Another ruffian! As my base I have one coat of Nails Inc South Kensington, and over that I have two coats of Girly Bits I Hit My Bunny Phone.

I had almost forgotten how much I love Bunny Phone and was itching to use it. That’s how this ruffian was born. Simple, quick, easy.

OPI Love.Angel.Music.Baby Swatches, Review and Nail Art!

Guys… I’ve been obsessed with this polish since I saw the promo shots, and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it!

Love.Angel.Music.Baby, two coats.  How beautiful?! It’s a light gold with shimmer, semi matte finish.

I was envisioning this nail art before I even got Love.Angel.Music.Baby, but then I had a revelation and realized it would be perfect. I used Girly Bits I Hit My Bunny Phone and OPI 4 In The Morning for the leopard spots. No top coat.
Formula on Love.Angel.Music.Baby is good, it’s pretty thin but has good coverage. You only need two coats for full opacity, but you can always do three. It also dries pretty fast, just make sure that it is completely dry before doing anything serious. I misjudged it when I first applied it and smudged a finger. Because of the semi-matte finish it can look dry when it’s not. It had pretty good wear time, I did start to see chips on the corners of my nails after 3-4 days, but the good thing is it’s hard to pick!
So, I freaking love this polish! If you don’t have it yet, you need it. Golds usually look weird on me, especially if they’re too yellow, but this is so amazing, I love it.

NOTD: Multichrome Water Marble!

While looking at the multichrome waterfall, I thought the colors all together looked a lot like an oil spill.. so I tried to recreate it on my nails!

So as a base I used a black creme, not sure of the name but it’s Milani. Then I took OPI Just Spotted the Lizard, Deborah Lippmann Sugar Daddy, China Glaze Deviantly Daring and Girly Bits I Hit My Bunny Phone and just water marbled like I usually would.
I thought it came out pretty cool, especially since I Hit My Bunny Phone still changed color at different angles! I think it looks kind of like an oil spill, what do you guys think?

NOTD: Multichrome Waterfall!

I’ve been super inspired since getting I Hit My Bunny Phone.. and basically using it in every mani lately lol

The base is two coats of Zoya Raven, then I used all the duo and multichromes that I have: OPI Just Spotted the Lizard, Girly Bits I Hit My Bunny Phone, Deborah Lippmann Sugar Daddy, China Glaze Deviantly Daring and Zoya Ki. I used a long striping brush for the waterfalls.
I really like how it came out! What do you guys think?

Girly Bits I Hit My Bunny Phone Swatches and Review!

Holy multichrome! This polish is amazing. I’m kind of obsessed with it, and you might be too after you see pictures. Warning: pic heavy!

In water:

This is two coats of I Hit My Bunny Phone with a coat of Seche Vite. How beautiful is this?! In daylight it has a purple to orange/yellow color shift, and in low light is has a blue to red color shift. It’s basically a sunset on your nails. And in the water you can see the entire color spectrum on your nails. Amazing.
Formula is a really nice consistency, covers nicely and dries quickly. It’s rare to find such a strong multichrome that isn’t sheer. This one is totally opaque in two coats.
At first, I was iffy about the color, I was hoping for more of a green color shift, but after wearing it for a day, I completely fell in love with in. Such a beautiful polishes, I don’t have anything like it in my collections, and I kind of don’t want to take it off. Definitely a must have.
Until next time,
