This is the new Confidence in an Eye Cream! It’s formulated with Anti-Aging Armour Rejuvenating Concentrate and Ceramides to restore, Chrysin to help reduce inflammaton, Peptides and Collagen to smooth the look of lines, Avocado to nourish, Hyaluronic acid and Squalane for hydration, Licorice for brightening and Caffeine to reduce puffiness

It also features Drops of Light Technology and an exclusive apricot tint for color correction and brightening!

I have been using it every day, in the morning after I wash my face. I do have dark circles and puffiness, so I need a product like this in my life. I just take a small amount and massage it onto my under eye area, and I instantly see a difference. Now, it does take a little while for my bags to completely de-puff, but I definitely see an instant brightening when I use this product.

It has no scent, which is great for the eye area.

I love that it has the apricot tint to help with the dark circles, and the Drop of Light doesn’t have any visible sparkle or shimmer, just a nice brightening effect.

The packaging is great, just like the Confidence in a Cream, except smaller. It has the same high-end skin care looking jar and label. And it is a glass jar so it’s nice and heavy.

I’m loving the new Confidence in a.. products from IT. The Confidence in a Compact is great, I use it everyday, and I’m so excited to add the Confidence in an Eye Cream to my everyday routine!

This product goes live on today, 3/21/2017! It will also be available at Ulta and in April!

Sally Hansen Color Therapy Nail & Cuticle Oil Review!

I’m a sucker for cuticle oil. I love it. I can’t get enough of it. I’ve been using Essie Apricot Oil pretty religiously for a while now, but I’m ready to see what else is out there. So when I spotted this, I had to have it.

This is the Sally Hansen Color Therapy Nail & Cuticle Oil, with Argan oil formula! The Argan oil sold me.

Firstly, it smells amazing. I’m using it even more than the Apricot Oil because I love the smell so much.

I actually bought it to be my nightly cuticle oil, but I’ve started using it a few times a day and I’m really enjoying it. It soaks in super fast and doesn’t leave any oily residue. It does a good job of keeping my cuticles nice and moisturized.

So far, I’m definitely liking it and I’d purchase it again! I found mine at Walmart for $6.99.

IT Cosmetics IT’s All About You Four-Piece Customer Favorites Collection!– June QVC Today’s Special Value!

Disclaimer: these items were sent to me for review

QVC has another IT Cosmetics Today’s Special Value coming tomorrow! And I happen to have it here! Warning: Picture heavy.

ITallaboutyou ITallaboutyou1 copySo here you have the It’s All About You 4 Piece Customer Favorites Collection! The set includes: the Naturally Pretty Face Palette, Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer, Celebration Foundation SPF 50 and Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection Brush.

I got the set in fair, so I’m going to assume they are going to be offering a range of shades.

ITallaboutyou2 ITallaboutyou3 ITallaboutyou4ITallaboutyou12This is the Celebration Foundation SPF 50 in Fair. It is a powder foundation, which I haven’t used in a very long time, since I decided that I have dry skin. But I was pleasantly surprised with this one! It doesn’t look cakey or too powdery. I used it with the Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection Brush (that came with the set) and applied in a circular motion. It has lighter coverage, but is definitely buildable. It even has SPF 50, which is awesome! Especially with a powder foundation.

ITallaboutyou5 ITallaboutyou6 ITallaboutyou11This is the Naturally Pretty Face Palette. Here you have the Vitality Matte Bronzer in Warmth, the Bye Bye Pores Pressed Blush in Je Ne Sais Quoi, Hello Light Creme in Radiance and Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder in Translucent. These swatches have 2-3 layers of product to show the color better. The blush is the most pigmented so a little will go a long way. I am loving the bronzer! It gives me the perfect amount of color to warm up my very pale face. The Hello Light Creme is also very nice, I really like it along my cheekbones and under my eyebrows. Keep in mind that it is a creme, and so it is easier to use with your finger, as you don’t pick up much product with a brush. The Pressed Powder is also great, I used it on top of the Bye Bye Under Eye and over my MAC Pro Longwear concealer. It sets makeup really nicely, gets rid of any unwanted shine, and best of all.. doesn’t get cakey!

ITallaboutyou7 ITallaboutyou14The Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer, which you may have seen in my Current Makeup Favorites post. I’ve been really liking the medium for my dark circles and was exciting to try the fair! A tiny bit goes a very long way with this product. It’s very thick, so I like to apply it with my fingers opposed to a brush because I can warm up the product and it seems to spread and blend better that way. You can warm up the product then use a brush to blend as well.

ITallaboutyou8 ITallaboutyou9 ITallaboutyou10Let me just start by saying that I love the IT Cosmetics brushes, they are my new favorites, and I use them every day without fail. This is the Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection Brush. It has two sides, the larger side and smaller side. Both are very fluffy and soft, and not too dense so they don’t soak up product. You can use both sides for foundation and concealer. I really enjoyed the larger side with the Celebration Foundation, it easily buffed the product in and gave a pretty flawless finish. I tried the smaller side with both the Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer and my usual MAC Pro Longwear Concealer. I liked it a little bit better with the Pro Longwear because it is more liquidy and easier to spread with the brush.

Overall, I love this set! No wonder these products are customer favorites! If you like face palettes, or just want to try something new.. this is for you! These are all products that you can, and definitely will, use every day.

I can’t disclose the actual price, but I can say that is is retailed at $150 but will cost less them $60! That is a fantastic price and totally worth it. So get ready, because the special pricing is going live on QVC tomorrow at 8am! You don’t want to miss out!

NOTD: Skittles with ILNP Electric Carnival!

I’m loving the ILNP Ultra Chrome flakies! You all saw Supernova in my last post and I really didn’t want to remove it… but really wanted to try more. #nailpolishaddictproblems for real.

So, my pointer and pinky are three coats of Zoya Jem, two coats will suffice, but I wanted three. Ring finger is two coats of Orly Pure Porcelain (and two studs, obviously lol), middle finger and thumb are two coats of Zoya Raven and two coats of Electric Carnival.

I’m not a pink lover by nature, but there is something awesome about this pink to green shift. You also get some yellow/gold/orange in there. Just like Supernova, Electric Carnival is jam packed with flakies and dries super fast.

I’m loving this entire mani at the moment, what do you guys think?

ILNP Supernova Swatches and Review!

If you haven’t seen ILNP’s new Ultra Chrome Flakies you need to get on the website ASAP and check them out. I started out only wanting to buy 2, but with the help of some other bloggers, I ended up getting 5. Mind you, there are 13!

This is the first one I fell in love with the second I saw swatches… so, a warning: a little swatch heavy!

Supernova2But , come on! How amazing is it?! This is two coats of Supernova over two coats of Zoya Raven. This polish is jam packed with these awesome multichrome flakies. The website said you can get full opacity with 4ish coats, but I haven’t tried that yet. This one shifts from an emerald green to teal to purple, pink and even orange/gold at extreme angles.

It dries super fast and the flakies lay nice and flat, so the polish stays smooth, especially after a top coat. I’ve had it on for three days, did a lot of dishes and no chips so far! Ignore the minor tip wear you see, because that’s from filing lol

Anyway… this is so beautiful! I’ve been nonstop staring at my nails since I applied it. I basically look at all five of my polishes at various times during the day because they are just so pretty. I can’t wait to try the others!

Have you tried these yet? What are your favorites?

Oh, and I’m obsessed with the ILNP packaging. The boxes and bottles are beautiful, and they even came wrapped in ILNP tissue paper! Probably the best indie packaging I’ve seen yet.

OMG Nail Strips in Houndstooth Review!

Disclaimer: This was sent to me for review

I’ll admit it right now… I have never tried any kind of nail polish strips. These might have converted me!

Please ignore that one darn piece of cat hair! Anyway, for my pointer, pinky and thumb I used two coats of Jin Soon Heirloom, then I used the nail strips on my middle and ring.

These are the instructions for application:

  • Soak your hands in warm water for 5 minutes. Dry hands, then gently push back cuticles. Carefully remove any excess skin around the nail bed.
  • Moisturize your hands with lotion, and wait 1 minute.
  • Using a Q-tip, remove any leftover lotion from the nail bed, paying special attention to the sidewalls, cuticle area and tip of the fingernail.
  • Select the appropriate sized nail strip for each nail to ensure the nail will be covered from sidewall to sidewall. Using a nail strip that is too large for a particular nail is not recommended; rather, trim the strip the scissors to the appropriate width.
  • Peel off the clear coating, and then carefully remove the nail polish strip from the sticker backing,
  • Start by placing whichever end on the nail strip that works better for your nails at the cuticle and  apply it by smoother the strip towards the tip and your nail, smoothing out and bumps and ensuring the strip is tucked neatly into the sidewalls.
  • File away any excess nail strip by holding your nail file parallel to the surface you are working on, as filing the nail perpendicularly will cause tearing along the tip.
  • After you have applied all ten polish strips, take a cotton ball the has been dipped in polish removed with the excess remover wrung out, and swipe each nail 1-3 times, paying special attention to the sidewalls, tips and cuticle area. This step is especially important, as it melts the strip to your nails, allowing for longer lasting wear.
  • Apply a finishing topcoat, and wait 5 minutes for it to dry completely.

I actually did not do the second to last step lol guess I missed that one but I will definitely try it out next time.

I found application to be very straight forward and easy. I did get a few minor bumps on the tips of my nails because of my shape, but they were pretty easy to smooth out. If you happen to place the nail strip on a little crooked, they’re very easy to remove and straighten out, and they don’t lose stickiness! I  sealed the strips with two coats of Seche Vite. Make sure that you get all your edges or they may start to lift up (hence my second coat of Seche).

I ended up wearing these for a full 5 days, after day 3 I had very minimal tip wear, and it was getting slightly more noticeable by day 5.

Overall, I think these are fantastic! Such an easy way to add some pizzazz to your manis. They wore wonderfully, didn’t start to peel on me or anything, and I really could’ve kept them on for more than the 5 days.

What do you guys think? Are you fans of nail art strips? I know I am now!

Kleem Organics Intensive Rejuvenating Vitam C Serum Review!

Disclaimer: This item was sent to me for review

Kleem copy

First, a little about Kleem Organics:

“Kleem Organics is a skin care company producing cosmetics containing only natural and organic ingredients harvested directly from Mother Nature to deliver visible results without having any negative side effects on the body from chemicals found in more traditional products…”

Now some claims about the product:

  • Reduces fine lines, laughter lines, wrinkles, freckles, age spots, discolorations, acne
  • Improves rough and damaged skin
  • Enhances skin texture and tone
  • Helps tightens the skin, reducing the pore size and provides an anti-bacterial protection to oily and acne-prone skin
  • Brightens dull skin, giving it a radiant glow
  • Aids sun damaged, dehydrated and worn skin
  • Helps prevent damage to skin from long term exposure in the sun and environmental pollution
  • Helps wrinkled or yellow skin due to cigarette smoke
  • Regenerates new skin cells allowing you to have a youthful skin
  • Ideal for all skin types, including those with blotches, scarring, redness and sagging

Basically this is a serum that you apply after you cleanse, but before you moisturize. It’s a very thin formula, like most serums and toners. It’s not sticky, absorbs very quickly and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin.

As for the claims, I did notice an initial tightening after the product was applied and while is soaked it. It also did leave my skin feeling nice and soft. I don’t have many wrinkles, or any kind of real issues so I can’t say how this help with things like that. I did, however, start to break out a little bit after using this. I used it , took a break then began using it again, and on both occasions I did break out. Of course, that’s a personal thing. It could’ve been an allergic reaction, my skin is very sensitive to new products.

I did like how it made my skin feel though, so I might pass it on to my mom and see how she likes it lol
