Blue Cross Cuticle Remover

A while ago I did a post on Sally Hansen Gel Cuticle Remover, but ever since then I’ve been on the look out for something better. While searching on google, I stumbled upon a slew of raving reviews for Blue Cross Cuticle Remover, so naturally I had to buy it.

This stuff is seriously awesome. It’s super liquidy, so the way I apply it is first pouring it into a cup and then using a q-tip to put it on my cuticle. After you put it on your cuticle, wait a few seconds and then use a cuticle pusher to push up your cuticle and remove any dead tissue from your nails. I suggest a metal cuticle pusher because the wooden ones start to get all frilly at the ends after a few nails. You could probably use a plastic one as well. Also, it works better if you push the cuticle and stuff before the liquid gets absorbed, so don’t let it sit too long on the nail. The good thing about this stuff is that it doesn’t start to sting or  burn if you leave it on. Anyway, this works like a charm! It’s great and I’m thrilled that I bought it. I even used it on my boyfriend who has horrendous cuticles (he’s a mechanic) and it was amazing. He’s even willing to let me do his cuticles every few weeks and that’s seriously saying something!!
I bought this at Sally Beauty Supply, 16 oz for $5.99. The bottle is huge and will last a ridiculously long time. Definitely try it out, it’s fantastic!
Until next time,
The Wicked
