I’ve really been loving those holo flakies, I’ve been using them a lot. This is probably my current favorite application… and it reminds me of pixie dust!
And that’s it! Such an easy way to jazz up a mani.

If you follow nail art on Instagram, you’ve probably seen holo flakies everywhere. I’ve been obsessed with them since I first saw them, and I finally got my hands on a jar!
Ah yissss, love me some rose gold!
My base is two coats of Zoya Purity, and then I freehanded some half moons with ILNP Juliette. Topped everything off with Essie Good To Go. Juliette is such a gorgeous holo rose gold glitter, I try to use it every change I get.
Very simple, but I love it! What do you think?
I had a $50 Amazon gift card burning a hole in my pocket, so I decided to use most of it on some nail art stuff that I’ve been wanting!
I got a silicon mat for stamping, and a clear stamper.
Then I got a pack of 5 opalescent powders and a silicon tool for them and my chrome powders. You get 5 colors: blue, purple, green, pink and yellow, I’ve labeled then with letter so I know which is which lol.
Finally, I couldn’t not get some glitter! I got this pack of 12 different glitter combinations. Each container has three different size round glitters.
So far, I’ve used the blue opalescent powder over white polish. It turned the white more into a cream, but it did give it a blue flash/undertone, which was really cool. I need to test them over black to see them better though.
I also used some of the glitter on a friend of mine, and I love them! I did kind of like a gradient over black and it came out really cool!
Please ignore our ugly tablecloth lol. That glitter looks great though! I’m really happy with everything I’ve bought so far.
The third polish that I tried from my Zoya haul was Alicia!
Here I have three coats of Alicia, over Zoya Purity. In three coats it’s a pretty full coverage glitter. It does lay very flat and doesn’t get bumpy when it dries. It doesn’t eat up top coat, and stays nice and smooth.
I was only going to do one coat, but I felt that it wasn’t very even, so I kept adding more! I feel like there’s almost too much glitter in one coat, so it gets a little patchy.
It does have some holo glitter in there, my camera did not want to pick it up, but it’s really most obvious in sunlight. Even without the holo, I love this poilsh! Especially with the three coats, it’s so pretty.
What do you think?
I was going for something a little Halloween related, not sure if I actually got there lol
The white base is two coats of Zoya Purity and the black is two coats of Zoya Willa. On the white nails, I sponged on some Willa and Purity to get the grey in the background then dry brushed some Willa over it. On my middle fingers, I mixed LA Girl Uninhibited with some holo glitter from Wet n’ Wild Fantasy Makers. Then I thought it was too glittery and added two more coats of Uninhibited over it. I topped everything off with Essie Good To Go.
So, I wish this was a little more Halloween-ish lol. I’ll have to try again.
Ever since I used the chrome powder to do rose gold nails, I’ve been wanting to do something rose gold on myself.
For this, I have a base of two coats of Zoya Kennedy. Then I added the half moons and french free hand with ILNP Juliette, which is a rose gold glitter with holo sparkle. Look at it! So pretty. After that was set, I topped it with two coats of Seche Vite to get it super smooth.
I looooooove how this came out. What do you think?
Well, I was in Disney World last week! Yep, that’s the second time this year lol so I decided to keep with the mermaid theme of my last Disney mani, but change it up a bit. So I went with purple and gold.
My base is two coats of Zoya Megan. When that was dry, I used mermaid nail vinyls and sponged on Zoya Serenity, Color Club Disco Dress and more Megan. Then I applied Deborah Lippmann Boom Boom Pow on some scales. I used a dotting tool for that. I added a shell as an accent and then topped it off with Essie Good to Go!
I loved them! Even got a compliment at the airport lol. What do you think?
I wanted to do a pastel galaxy, butttt then this happened.
My base is two coats of Zoya Purity then I sponged on Zoya Megan, Lillian and more Purity. Then I sponged on Deborah Lippmann Boom Boom Pow in certain places and added dots of Essie Leggy Legend around the gold. I also added a few random dots of Lillian and Purity. I topped it off with Essie Good to Go.
I love how this came out. I love the combo of the glitter and pastel shades. It really reminds me of cotton candy and clouds and unicorns and happiness! What do you think? lol
It’s finally suuuummmerrrrr! Granted, I really thought it was still May. But now that it feels like summer, it’s time for a mani that feels like summer summered all over it!
And so, this was born! My base is two coats of Zoya Purity, then I sponged on China Glaze Too Yacht To Handle and Sun Worshiper, Essie The More the Merrier and Color Club Raspberry Rush. When everything was blended to my liking, I let it set then topped it with a coat of Sally Hansen Disco Ball. And, of course, last but not least, Essie Good to Go.
It reminds me of cotton candy and unicorns and happy summer things! What do you think?
