Happy May, everyone! Why not start a new month with some new products?!

These are the new IT Cosmetics Confidence In Your Glow Skin Transforming Healthy Flush Blushing Bronzer palettes! IT is killing it with the Confidence line packaging, these have gradient covers that mimic the actual product! The medallion on the front provides a magnetic closure, and each have a mirror on the inside.

These palettes are infused with high-performance anti-aging ingredients and talc-free pigments. Also, like the rest of the Confidence line, these have that orange scent to them, and they feature a vitamin-C infused, radiance boosting formula.

First up, we have the palette in Instant Natural Glow.

This one has the most classic blush and bronzer combination. It has a pink blush and a lighter bronzer and you can see that the combination of all three is still a very natural, peachy shade.

Here we have Instant Warm Glow. The palette lives up to it’s name, it gives the skin a nice warm glow, perfect if you’re pale like me and desperately need a tan lol

This has a more coral tone throughout the palette, and I think this one has my favorite highlighter of the bunch. This one also has a warmer, darker bronzer. The combination of all three here has a bit more sparkle from the highlighter.

Here is Instant Nude Glow.

This is similar in tone to the Instant Warm Glow, but the shades a touch lighter and a bit more natural. It definitely also warms up the skin, especially if you’re on the fairer side, but I can see it being more ‘nude’ on tanner complexions.

This is the new Heavenly Skin One-Sweep Wonder Brush . It’s a flat brush, similar to a contour brush, but it’s domed instead of flat. The bristles are also layered and tapered, so there are shorter bristles on the sides, and they get longer as you get toward the middle and top of the brush. So, what you have is a denser base and a featherier top. It’s almost V shaped when you look at it from the side.

As always, this brush is super soft and feels really nice on the skin. It actually picks up a ton of product! Use it carefully, as you can pick up too much product very easily. It does blend nicely, though. You can use this brush a few different ways: you can use the flat side to apply blush, you can use the top edge to contour with bronzer and you can use the flat side vertically to highlight.

So far, I’ve been using Nude Glow the most, followed by Warm Glow. I did use Natural Glow for Easter, though! Honestly, I don’t think I can pick a favorite, they all have their place depending on the occasion. I’ve been alternating between them depending on my mood that morning. I’m loving the brush! It’s multi-use, which is perfect for this palette. I really like swiping through all the shades to warm up my face and then going back into the bronzer to contour. The highlighters are also super beautiful on their own.

New IT Cosmetics Your Je Ne Sais Quoi Complexion Perfection Palette Swatches and Review!

This is another new product for the holiday season! This is the Your Je Ne Sais Quoi Complexion Perfection Palette.

The products! You get the Bye Bye Pores Blush in Je Ne Sais Quoi, the Bye Bye Pores Pressed Power in Translucent, Sunshine in a Compact in Warm and the Perfect Lighting Luminizer in Je Ne Sais Quoi. Love the imprint on the Luminizer!

Swatches! From left to right:

• Perfect Lighting Luminizer in Je Ne Sais Quoi– This is so beautiful! It’s a gold toned highlighter. The second I swatched it, I fell in love with it. It will give you a really nice sun kissed glow. So pretty.
• Sunshine in a Compact in Warm– This is a warm, matte bronzer. I use this every day to warm up my face, and I love it! I’m super pale, and I use a fluffy brush and it looks very natural. The color is very buildable though.
• Bye Bye Pores Blush in Je Ne Sais Quoi– This is a matte, medium pink blush. I use this with a fluffier blush brush. It isn’t too bright when it’s blended it out, but it is buildable.
• Bye Bye Pores Pressed Power in Translucent– The classic pressed powder. This is one of my favorites. I use it as a setting powder for my under eyes, and I love it. It really does minimize your pores.

Since I already have the blush, pressed powder and bronzer, I knew those were going to be winners… but my favorite thing in this palette is the luminizer. I seriously want it in a giant compact. It’s so beautiful.

Overall, this is a perfect every day palette. You can use it for work, for going out, to create more natural looks, or go bolder. It’s super versatile and is full of A+ products. I love it!

IT Cosmetics It’s Your Bye Bye Collection – 5 Piece Collection!– March QVC Today’s Special Value!

It’s that time again… IT Cosmetics on QVC! It’s the Today Special Value… today! Warning: picture heavy!

A close up of the brush, this is the Heavenly Skin Bye Bye Pores Powder Brush. It’s domed, pretty dense and super soft.

The Bye Bye Makeup 3-in-1 Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm.This basically combines your makeup removal and cleansing process into one step. It has a texture similar to coconut oil. It looks like a solid, but as your hands warm it up it melts. So all you do is apply it to dry skin, rinse with warm water or wipe off with a soft cloth.

I’ve been using it since I received it, and I really like it. It removes makeup really well and after I rinse it off my face feels clean and not at all dry, like it does with some other cleansers. I’m not sure if it’s safe to use on eyes, so I’ve been avoiding the eye area just in case.

Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder. This is a translucent powder, great for makeup setting. I’ve used it for setting concealer when I use powder foundation and for setting all my makeup with using liquid foundation. I absolutely love this. It does not cake and actually does help blur your pores.

The bottom compartment of the Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder, here you’ll find a white makeup sponge.

Bye Bye Pores Blush Airbrush Brightening Blush. This is a nice warm coral color, perfect if you don’t like super noticeable blushes. I’ve been applying just a little bit of it and I really like it. It adds just enough color.

Bye Bye Under Eye Illumination Full Coverage Anti-Aging Concealer in Light. If you follow this blog, you might already know how much I love the regular Bye Bye Under Eye concealer, but this one just took the number one spot on my list for under eyes.It’s very brightening and in the swatch and comparisons below you’ll see the differences between the two.

Here, you can see that Bye Bye Under Eye Illumination is much brighter than the original Bye Bye Under Eye. It has more of a radiance about it.

This collection comes in 4 colors: Light (the one I received), Medium, Tan and Deep.

Overall, I think this collection is fantastic. I love every single product in it and it’s definitely worth checking out!

IT Cosmetics New Year, Your Most Beautiful Skin- 6 Piece Collection!– January QVC Today’s Special Value!

It’s that time! Time for IT Cosmetics January QVC Today’s Special Value! This month, it’s all about your most beautiful skin for the New Year! Warning: picture heavy!

This is the new supersize CC+ Veil Cushion Compact Foundation (also comes with a refill cartridge!). This is an SPF 50+, sheer to medium coverage foundation. It’s a foundation, anti-aging serum, moisturizer and primer all in one! This is in the shade light, but I have three shades to show you below!

You might notice that this looks like a sponge, and that’s because it is! It takes a bit of getting used to, if you don’t press your brush into it hard enough you won’t get that much product.

These are the foundation colors that I received. You can see a pretty significant difference between the light and fair. I was actually a bit surprised to see that light was close to medium. I’m definitely fair, but I can see using the other shades to slightly contour.

The formula is lightweight, doesn’t feel heavy on the skin at all. I dotted it all over my face with my finger first and then buffed it in with the Heavenly Luxe Dual-Ended Complexion Perfection Brush. It is pretty light coverage, but you can definitely build it up. I think I needed about two thin coats to get the coverage that I like. The finish is matte, it’s goes from liquid to powder as you buff it in. I think that would be great for oily skin!

This foundation didn’t cake up on me during application, even in my drier spots. After a few hours of wear, I did start to notice some dry patches, but I did not use any moisturizer or primer for initial testing purposes. But if you do have dry skin, I suggest moisturizing and priming before any foundation.

The CC+ Creme Blush and Blurred Lines Lipstick are both in the same color, Je Ne Sais Quoi, which IT says is the perfect pink for all skin tones and ages.

The blush is pretty sheer, which is good, because when you open it, it looks super bright! It adds just the perfect hint of color to your cheeks. If you like a stronger blush, you can build up the color as well.

The lipstick is also on the sheer side but definitely buildable. When first applied it gives you that your-lips-but-better color, then you can build it up to a very pretty pink (and I’m not even a fan of pinks!). What I enjoy most is the smell! It’s like a slight cocoa scent, very very nice. It’s also very moisturizing on the lips.

Overall, another great TSV from IT! I especially love that it comes with two brushes and refill for the foundation. I’m also really loving the lipstick and excited to start using the blush (I’m a blush nube lol).

IT Cosmetics IT’s All About You Four-Piece Customer Favorites Collection!– June QVC Today’s Special Value!

So here you have the It’s All About You 4 Piece Customer Favorites Collection! The set includes: the Naturally Pretty Face Palette, Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer, Celebration Foundation SPF 50 and Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection Brush.

I got the set in fair, so I’m going to assume they are going to be offering a range of shades.

This is the Celebration Foundation SPF 50 in Fair. It is a powder foundation, which I haven’t used in a very long time, since I decided that I have dry skin. But I was pleasantly surprised with this one! It doesn’t look cakey or too powdery. I used it with the Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection Brush (that came with the set) and applied in a circular motion. It has lighter coverage, but is definitely buildable. It even has SPF 50, which is awesome! Especially with a powder foundation.

This is the Naturally Pretty Face Palette. Here you have the Vitality Matte Bronzer in Warmth, the Bye Bye Pores Pressed Blush in Je Ne Sais Quoi, Hello Light Creme in Radiance and Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder in Translucent. These swatches have 2-3 layers of product to show the color better. The blush is the most pigmented so a little will go a long way. I am loving the bronzer! It gives me the perfect amount of color to warm up my very pale face. The Hello Light Creme is also very nice, I really like it along my cheekbones and under my eyebrows. Keep in mind that it is a creme, and so it is easier to use with your finger, as you don’t pick up much product with a brush. The Pressed Powder is also great, I used it on top of the Bye Bye Under Eye and over my MAC Pro Longwear concealer. It sets makeup really nicely, gets rid of any unwanted shine, and best of all.. doesn’t get cakey!

The Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer, which you may have seen in my Current Makeup Favorites post. I’ve been really liking the medium for my dark circles and was exciting to try the fair! A tiny bit goes a very long way with this product. It’s very thick, so I like to apply it with my fingers opposed to a brush because I can warm up the product and it seems to spread and blend better that way. You can warm up the product then use a brush to blend as well.

Let me just start by saying that I love the IT Cosmetics brushes, they are my new favorites, and I use them every day without fail. This is the Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection Brush. It has two sides, the larger side and smaller side. Both are very fluffy and soft, and not too dense so they don’t soak up product. You can use both sides for foundation and concealer. I really enjoyed the larger side with the Celebration Foundation, it easily buffed the product in and gave a pretty flawless finish. I tried the smaller side with both the Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer and my usual MAC Pro Longwear Concealer. I liked it a little bit better with the Pro Longwear because it is more liquidy and easier to spread with the brush.

Overall, I love this set! No wonder these products are customer favorites! If you like face palettes, or just want to try something new.. this is for you! These are all products that you can, and definitely will, use every day.

I can’t disclose the actual price, but I can say that is is retailed at $150 but will cost less them $60! That is a fantastic price and totally worth it. So get ready, because the special pricing is going live on QVC tomorrow at 8am! You don’t want to miss out!

IT Cosmetics CC+ Your Way To Radiant Skin! Five-Piece Collection– March QVC Today’s Special Value

So here we have the whole collection. It includes: Your Skin But Better Anti-Aging Full Coverage Physical SPF 50 CC+ Cream Illumination (that’s a mouthful lol), Live, Love, Laugh Anti-Aging Vitality Face Disc, Heavenly Luxe Radiance Wand Brush, Luxe High Performance Anti-Aging Eye Shadow Trio in Pretty in Spring and the No-Tug Dual Airbrush Eyeshadow Brush.

This is the CC+ cream, it’s a new product, here is a little more about it:

“Experience your cult-favorite multi-tasking beauty miracle, now in an illuminating formula that gives you the appearance of a lit-from-within glow. It’s full coverage foundation, SPF 50 + UVA/UVB sunscreen, brightening color corrector, anti-aging serum, pore-minimizing primer, dark spot corrector and moisturizing day cream all in one step!”

First and foremost, I LOVE that it has a pump! It makes everything way less messy and is much better for storage.

Here is one pump, the first pump, on my arm… as you can see its pretty dark for me. I got the shade medium, and I’m very pale, so I wasn’t expecting it to match me lol I also wasn’t expecting it to be as thick as it was. I thought it would be more like a BB Cream, but it’s closer to a foundation consistency, kind of like a sunscreen/foundation texture. Also, gotta love that SPF 50, my pale face really appreciates it. I don’t think I’ve ever some across a facial product with that high an SPF.

I’m not sure if you’ll be able to choose colors with this kit, so be aware of that.

This is the Live, Love, Laugh Anti-Aging Vitality Face Disc. Here is a little about it:

“Discover your most radiant, youthful look with this anti-aging powerhouse! It includes a matte bronzer, illuminating powder and blush stain, formulated with anti-aging, skin-loving ingredients and talc-free, high-performance pigments.”

This is your quintessential face palette.. if that’s the correct term. It has your bronzer, blush and highlight, all very smooth and easy to blend. The bronzer is matte, but pretty light. I’m pretty pale, and it gives me just a touch of color, a light overall bronze. The highlight is really nice, it’s a golden shade and gives a nice glow. It’s not super shiny or overwhelming. The blush is the most pigmented of the bunch. It’s super bright, but is easily blended and diffused. You just need a little bit to pack a punch. I feel like the highlight and blush would work on a variety of skin tones.

This is the Luxe High-Performance Anti-Aging Eye Shadow Trio in Pretty in Spring. This is a new product, here is more about it:

“Give your eyelids the naturally pretty, anti-aging, skin-loving shades they deserve! This eyeshadow trio is packed with high-performance pigments and anti-aging ingredients that help blur away the look of imperfections. The trio includes three new spring-inspired shades.”

Not only do you get three shades, you get a secret compartment with a mirror and two of those foam makeup applicators! I thought that was great. As for the shades, I think they’re great for a no-makeup makeup look. They’re very toned down and neutral. They’re pigmented, but the colors are so neutral that sometimes it looks like you have none of it on.. which might be the point. The way I’ve used them is the middle shade all over the lid, the darkest in the crease and the lightest as a highlight. I’ve also used the lightest shade all over the lid, with a mix of the two other shades in the crease.

The lightest shade might be my favorite here because it’s nice and glowy and shimmery without being glittery. All the shades are very buttery and go on super smooth. I did find that it creased after a while, and by a while I mean a while. I think it was about 16 hours, mind you, I did not wear primer underneath. I also found the the eyeshadow compartment a little hard to open, it might be because my nails are long though.

Wanted to give you guys a good overview of what the brushes look like, here is more about them:

Heavenly Luxe Radiance Wand Brush (new)

“Get your most radiant look with the stroke of a brush! This ultra-luxe, domed brush is designed for flawless application of your bronzing, illuminating and blush shades.”

This brush is massive! It has a super long handle, you can see how long it is in the first picture. The brush itself is big and really fluffy but not very dense. It’s a great all over face brush, I did try it with all the products in the Vitality Face Disc. I found that it did a nice job with overall bronzing and blush, since it is big and fluffy, it diffuses the color nicely. It even worked well to highlight. But because the brush isn’t too dense, it isn’t ideal for contour. You can get a light contour, if that’s what you’re after.

No-Tug Dual Airbrush Eyeshadow Brush

“Give your eyelids an airbrush finish! This cutting-edge, dual-ended eyeshadow brush applied shades flawlessly without tugging on the delicate skin of your eyelids.”

The all-over side is fluffy, but not too dense, so it’s great for diffusing color and blending. The smudge side is shorter, thinner, and denser.

I tried this brush a few ways… the first day that I used it, I used the smudge side for all over eyeshadow and used the all-over side for my crease. The smudger, did the job but I found it too thin and short for that. On the second day, I used the all-over brush for my lid color and my crease, and used the smudger to… smudge! It definitely did better with that, but I think it’s a little wide and I wish the edges were a little more rounded, it’s a little bit too square for my taste. The all-over brush is fantastic. You can use the side to swipe color all over your lids, then use the top for crease/blending.

I also love that the brushes have matte handles to match the rest of the packaging. It’s not only pretty, it helps with grip too.

Overall, I think this collection is great, it has everything you need for an everyday look. I also love the packaging of everything! If you like that no-makeup makeup look or are new to makeup, this is something you should really check out.
